Attendance
Tardy Policy
We encourage all of our students to be on time to school each day. Any students who arrive at school after 8:30 will be marked tardy. If your child arrives late, please walk him/her into the office to get a tardy pass. If a child is late to school due to a school bus that is running late, he/she will not be marked tardy.
Absentee Policy
Regular attendance is a vital part of a child's success at school. Therefore, we encourage students to be present in the classroom each school day. We do not encourage vacations during the school year, but if your child is going to be absent for more than 5 consecutive days due to a family vacation, please contact the office to obtain approval.
If your child is sick or going to be absent for another reason, please call the absentee line 571-261-3541 and leave a message. If you do not call the school, you will receive an automated call later that day informing you of your child's unexcused absence. When your child returns to school, we will be happy to mark the absence as excused if a note is sent to the office.
